Virtual letter-writing party for old growth

Virtual letter-writing party for old growth
Webinar | June 25 at 6:00 PM (PT)
Did you know one of the best ways to speak up for old growth protection is to hand write a letter to your MLA? MLA’s get hundreds of emails every day and often don’t get the chance to read them. A handwritten letter is much more effective. It is almost always read by someone in the office, and it shows how much you care about old growth in B.C.
On June 25 from 6 to 7:30pm Sierra Club BC will be hosting an online letter writing party to guide you in creating a powerful, personal letter that will move your MLA. We’ll cover:
- How to share your story
- How to get creative with your letter
- The most important things to include
- How to craft a strong, clear ask
- What steps to take after your letter is sent
Although this workshop is online, we want you to make it a shared experience! For every 3 friends, family members, or loved ones you can recruit to join our webinar and write a letter in person, we’ll provide one free cheese or pepperoni pizza (vegan options available). This is limited, so will only be provided to those that register first.
