Produced by Beyond Boarding, The Radicals follows a group of snowboarders and surfers who drift from their respective sports into the world of activism. Together they journey across the West Coast of British Columbia, weaving a story of learning, inspiration and resistance.
From the Tahltan fight for the Iskut Sacred Headwaters, BC Hydro’s corruption in Xwísten, art as resilience on Haida Gwaii, to a coastal uprising against fish farms off the coast of Vancouver Island, each community teaches the athletes to understand what it means to be a true radical.
Patagonia ambassador Marie-France Roy is featured in the film and will be joining us for the screening and available after for a time of Q&A. Refreshments will be provided—please bring a reusable cup to help us cut down on single-use plastics. See you there!
Sierra Club BC is proud to partner with Beyond Boarding and Patagonia Victoria on this event.
