Excerpt from the op-ed
Six years ago, after years of fighting to protect B.C.’s waters, people in B.C. won a huge victory when the federal government banned oil tankers on the North Coast and sent the Enbridge pipeline packing.

We say: not a chance!
The North Coast tanker ban isn’t just a policy, it’s a promise. A promise to protect what we love, to honour Indigenous leadership, and to choose a thriving future over risk.
