Report | 2025
This comprehensive guide for local governments outlines 13 best practices to enhance green infrastructure and build climate-ready communities.

About the report
We all deserve to live in healthy, climate-safe communities. But right now, our cities and towns are being harmed by heatwaves, wildfires and landslides that are made worse by climate change. This is costing lives and billions of dollars.
Municipal governments have the power to help address these issues by implementing stronger bylaws and policies. That’s where this toolkit comes in. This comprehensive guide for local governments outlines 13 best practices to enhance green infrastructure and build climate-ready communities.
