Shelley Luce is a nonprofit leader with over 20 years experience in the science and policy of environmental protection. Her focus is ecosystem protection to ensure a healthy environment for future generations, with an emphasis on community resilience and environmental justice.

Shelley has collaborated on open space protection, endangered species and forest management, marine protected areas, wetlands and riparian restoration, sea level rise preparedness, and urban green infrastructure policy and projects. She especially values work that brings grassroots energy and participation together with policy and decision-making for long-term community benefit.

Shelley holds a Doctorate of Environmental Science and Engineering from UCLA and a BSc in Biology from McGill University.
