Liz has spent the past 15 years working at the intersection of social and climate justice, with a strong focus on community engagement. She has been based on the land of the lək̓ʷəŋən People for the past decade and is committed to supporting collaborative, grassroots efforts that advance equity, ecological integrity and Indigenous rights.
Liz has an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, with experience in newcomer settlement, environmental stewardship, food security, and community-based initiatives centering houseless populations and Indigenous peoples. She holds degrees in international relations and international human rights law, which have provided opportunities to experience many rich cultures and lands. Liz joined the Board of Directors in 2025 and is honoured to contribute to the important work of Sierra Club BC.
