You're Invited to Our AGM - Sierra Club BC

It’s time for our Annual General Meeting and we hope to see you there!

If you were a financial supporter of Sierra Club BC you have a voice in the governance of the organization. The Annual General Meeting is your opportunity to be briefed on our campaign work and vote for the Board of Directors who will oversee operations for the next year.

I hope you will join us on October 1 as Executive Director Bob Peart brings us up to date on the historic Great Bear Rainforest agreements about to receive final approval from the province. He’ll even give you a peek at our next steps in saving BC’s forests.

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who helped us campaign to stop the Northern Gateway and Kinder Morgan pipelines and to save the Peace River Valley from the Site C development. You’ve also kept the push for a national park for the Flathead alive and have brought us to the final stages of preserving the Great Bear Rainforest. You’ve also helped us educate more than 5,500 students in BC classrooms about their environment and how to protect it.
