Donate to help kids (re)connect with nature!

Because of supporters like you, our outdoor Education Team of 4 staff continues to offer free nature (re-)connection experiences in school yards and local parks across British Columbia. A suggested donation of $75-$100 per class/group will ensure we can offer hands-on activities and experiential learning opportunities that foster healthy childhood development and cultivate the environmental stewards of today, and tomorrow.
Money supports staff wages, transportation, and a wide variety of quality workshop materials, and staff support following the workshop (to help ensure teachers take their students out regularly and can engage with our growing library of free, open-source educational materials).

With the presence of COVID-19 and the climate crisis, it is critical that we consciously (re-)connect kids and the adults in their lives with the beautiful world around them. We take classes on interactive neighbourhood walks to help them appreciate the life in parks and greenspaces in ways they had never imagined. Our class workshops are 1.5 to 2 hours, but many teachers want us to stay longer! We consistently have about 30% higher workshop demand that we are able to fulfill each school year! We prioritize schools in marginalized areas, but ideally want to fulfill all workshop requests.
