Intact Interior old-growth trees are important for biodiversity and play a critical role in protecting communities from climate–related risks in all parts of the province. They help protect communities from flooding, safeguard clean drinking water, and reduce the risk of wildfire. In order to create more resilient communities, we must protect the most at-risk forests and transition to reformed forestry practices before it’s too late.
Sierra Club BC hopes to bring a much needed focus on Interior old-growth forests, and we need your help to do so.
