Sign up for our full-day 'Get Outside and Learn' teacher Pro-D workshop on February 23rd. We are also now offering our nature-based workshops in French for interested classes in the Lower Mainland and the Capital Regional District.

Environmental education: Looking back on 2017
Our team of environmental educators worked hard this year to provide hands-on learning opportunities to students across the province. They facilitated 251 workshops for over 5800 students at 80 schools in 21 school districts!

Welcome back to a new school year!
Our Environmental Educators, Kirsten and Amira, delivered over 200 workshop during the 2016/17 school year to nearly 5000 students at 74 different schools in 18 school districts across the province!

Outdoor learning: Professional development for teachers
Our Education Team facilitated six environmental education professional development workshops for teachers in May. The workshops covered topics such as building a routine to take your class outside regularly and connections to the new BC curriculum. Their goal is to expand this Pro-D training to all teachers by 2020.

Kids Need Nature, Nature Needs Kids
Education Program Manager James Davis attended the annual Children & Nature Network International Conference & Summit in Vancouver last month and connected with environmental educators from across North America and around the world.
