Amanda Tracey

Amanda Tracey (she/her) is a dynamic strategic communications professional and enthusiastic community advocate. She is grateful to be residing on the ancestral and unceded territory of the hən̓qəmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples (Burnaby, BC).

Passionate about sustainability and inclusivity, Amanda is dedicated to igniting positive change. She excels at crafting compelling narratives, amplifying organizational voices, and driving impactful action. Amanda creates innovative communication and media relations strategies, implements metrics that drive engagement, and bolsters brand resonance.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Amanda is an avid and hands-on community volunteer. She applies her expertise to assist grassroots movements that advocate for environmentalism and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her volunteer work spans diverse causes including Special Olympics BC, Vancouver Pride Parade, Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, and Ocean Wise Canada.

Amanda graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Public Relations degree. She has furthered her education and expertise through specialized courses like the University of Alberta’s Indigenous Canada course, Cornell University’s Digital Marketing Certificate, and the University of London’s Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand and Behaviour course.

In her role as a Board Member at Sierra Club BC, Amanda aspires to be a driving force for a more sustainable future. She is eager to collaborate with fellow environmental advocates, seizing the opportunity to learn and collectively effect lasting positive change in society.
