Sierra Club BC is seeking an experienced leader to take the role of Executive Director. We are looking for a proven leader and an innovative steward to guide one of British Columbia’s premiere organizations dedicated to protecting the environment and communities.
The ideal candidate is devoted to environmental and social justice, will have a proven track record of fundraising, is an excellent manager of human and financial resources, communicates in a compelling fashion, and has a strong understanding of how non-profits thrive in the era of social media and big data.
The candidate should be a visionary and policy-oriented strategic thinker. You will be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds, multiple levels of government (including First Nations), engage with a wide range of community and business stakeholders, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time position. Salary is competitive within the environmental non-profit sector and is commensurate with experience. Deadline for application is March 17.
