Outdoor learning: Professional development for teachers
Our Education Team facilitated six environmental education professional development workshops for teachers in May. The workshops covered topics such as building a routine to take your class outside regularly and connections to the new BC curriculum. Their goal is to expand this Pro-D training to all teachers by 2020.

As I stood on the shores of the Peace River in Northern BC this past spring, I was reminded of the incredible diversity of land and water we hold here in beautiful BC. Our children and future generations deserve to experience all of this amazing biodiversity. They deserve to know where they live and develop a connection to the place they call home.
